An e-Store on the website
April 3, 2010
This website was launched in November 2006 as a very simple work of an amateur in the true sense of the word. Meanwhile, the project has become a site of more than 2000 pages with hundreds of photos, video and music clips and archive documents.
A work of such size, however, calls for financial resources beyond the potential of an amateur. One solution could be to accept advertising. But I don't want to do this. Therefore I opened an e-store, where subtitled films, unpublished works by Mikhail Bulgakov and studies and essays on The Master and Margarita can be downloaded for a small fee.
For those who don't want to buy anything, but yet would want to support the website, I created a page for donations.
The proceeds of the e-store are not used to get personal benefits from it. They are all used to keep this site free of advertising, and to maintain and develop it further.
