The Master and Margarita

In 2006, actor-director-producer Alim Kouliev gathered a group of talented actors enamoured of The Master and Margarita and presented them with The Master Project - his own stage adaptation of my favourite novel.

The Master Project was growing and progressing with full speed, along with regular rehearsals and choreography sessions. It was intended to run in both Russian and English, and it should have been a sensation in the cultural life of Los Angeles.

The play was scheduled to premiere October 14, 2007 at 7:00 pm, at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, 4401 W. 8th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005, but it has never been represented.
