The Master and Margarita

The shootings in Saint-Petersburg for the new TV-series are finished, nine months after when Vladimir Bortko started the project with his team. Only in Saint-Petersburg Bortko could find the atmosphere of Moscow in the 30's. So Berlioz lost his head about 900 kilometers from the Patriarch's Ponds.

Before Saint-Petersburg the team had already worked in Bulgaria and the Crimea, where the shootings for the biblical scenes were made. Another six months to go now for the work in the animation studios..
