Until recently, on this page you could find a clickable map showing the places Ivan followed Woland's gang after Berlioz's beheading, from the Patriarch's Pond to apartment number 66 of Saveljevskij pereulok 12 and then «the granite steps of the Moscow River amphitheatre». That is on the bank of the Moscow River, right in front of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, which had been transformed into a giant swimming pool after the destruction of the original cathedral in 1931.

However, Google's scripting to use this map turned out to contain cookies that collected personal data from users – and this is contrary to our vision of privacy.

We have therefore decided to remove this map from the website. We are, however, looking for a solution to provide a worthy and cookie-free alternative.
