In December 2017, Galina Sokolova, a student at the Faculty of Communication, Media and Design of the National Research University «School of Economics» was inspired by The Master and Margarita for makingМаргарита и Мастер [Margarita i master] or Margarita and the Master, a project which was part of her bachelor programme.

The project consists of a short film strip about Margarita flying over Moscow on her broom and destroying Latunsky apartment in the Dramlit building. The curator was Varvara Alyaeva, teacher of Creative Design.
