Films and TV-series
Many visitors to this site know Vladimir Bortko's TV series, but can't fully enjoy it, because the official DVD was released only in Russian. Some websites offer a box with English subtitles, but these are, to say the least, not really good.
That's why I subtitled the series myself, not only in Dutch, but also in English, Spanish, German, Italian and French. Since then I have made subtitles for almost all film adaptations of works by Bulgakov. You can discover them all using the menu on the top right of this page.
Books
Your webmaster has published some books about The Master and Margarita, including the Annotations per chapter which you can find on this website, as well as the illustrations which he made himself in 2020.
Music
The music catalog includes musical pieces inspired by The Master and Margarita which are hard to find, or which were ne-ver published before on CD. It includes also the soundtrack composed by Igor Kornelyuk for Vladimir Bortko's TV-series.
Posters, cards and calendars
The artist Arina Gheorghita wanted to support this website by making a series of illustrations of The Master and Margarita, and we used them to make calendars, greeting cards, post-cards, notebooks and even playing cards.

Why do we need a shop?
This website was launched on November 6, 2006 as a very simple work of an amateur in the true sense of the word. Meanwhile, the project has become a site of more than 12,000 pages with hundreds of photos, video and music clips and archive documents.
A work of such size, however, calls for financial resources beyond the potential of an amateur. One solution could be to accept advertising. But I don't want to do this. Therefore I opened this shop, where mainly subtitled films and books are available.
You will also find here unpublished works by Mikhail Bulgakov and studies and essays on The Master and Margarita. You can download most of those texts for free.
For those who don't want to buy anything, but yet would want to support the website, I created a page for donations.
The proceeds of the e-store will not be used to get personal benefits from it. They will be used entirely to maintain and develop the site and to keep it free of advertising.
