Rich collection
In 2005 publishing house NGK launched a special and limited Russian edition of The Master and Margarita. The book is in a leather binding with golden imprints, and only 1.000 copies were printed.
Not less than five artists were asked to illustrate the book: V. Glushenko, S. Voriso-voy, I. Voronina, V. Rumyatseva and A. Sa-morezova. I don't know their first names. The quality of the drawings is, despite the many appraisals, quite uneven, the differences in style are too important to show a coherent plan, and the overall impression is baroque and excessive.
Still I wanted to present here a selection of what, in my opinion, are the best drawings of the book.
