Biography
Peter Suart was raised in Hong Kong and schooled in England. In 1985 he returned to Hong Kong to work as an artist, musician, writer and theatrical performer, co-founding the box, a theatrical music ensemble, with Kung Chi Shing in 1987. Since 1999 he has lived in England, where he has continued to make books, music and theatre works. He is the author and illustrator of the Tik and Tok books for children and adults. He illustrates for The Folio Society in London.
In 2007, Peter Suart illustrated an edition of The Master and Margarita, translated by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky.
